Josh took a job at the Walmart Distribution Center just north of where we live. It is a true blessing that the Lord provided this job for him! He is still attending seminary at Southeastern Baptist. He hopes to finish and graduate in December 2012 with a Masters of Divinity in Christian Ministry. He has debated staying for a THM (essentially a step down from a Doctorate) but hasn't made a firm "yea" or "nay" on it yet. I'm very much ready for him to be done with school though!
He has been attached to an Army Reserve Unit since the beginning of the year, so he does drill one weekend a month (in a town close by). He is under a great Chaplain mentor at his unit, and he has even preached a few times during drill weekends. Next summer he will finish up CHBOLC at Fort Jackson. We don't talk about that 6-week long departure much just yet :(
You should see how much Caleb lights up when he sees his Daddy. They already have this great Daddy-son bond! Sometimes Caleb will only smile for him. I love seeing their relationship grow, knowing that one day he will be teaching him the great responsibility of being a loving, serving, selfless, humble man of God (or so I pray).
I'm very proud of my husband for working so hard to provide for his family and finish up school. I know it is tiring and exhausting but he continues to persevere through it all. I love my husband!
