S.I.X. month check up!

This past Monday we had Caleb's 6 month check up! We are a little early on the calendar for it but so it is (the 29th will be the official half-year birthday!). Dr. Taylor-Book was generally impressed with his development- I was prepared! I had him sitting up on the table on his own playing with toys when she came in! That questionnaire we had to fill out about what he is or isn't doing yet was pretty in depth! He is doing well in all things he should be though.

We saw our first signs of an unsure baby with a stranger poking around on him, so I'm sure the next check up will be even better- ha! I guess this is a good thing right? It was cute to see him looking from Josh to me to see if we were reacting. He didn't cry at least. I hear that will happen eventually. We captured this shot right during the appointment...

He has fallen into the 25th percentile on everything but his head- staying steady in the 50th percentile here. He weighed 15 lbs 6 oz and was 25.5 inches long. It doesn't look like any tall genes from my side of the family have passed to him, at least not yet. He took his 2 shots like a champ, only cried for maybe a minute afterward.

The little man and myself are heading to the beach this weekend to visit with Nana and Grandpa (my parents). If it's OK with Josh (we sort of agreed Caleb wouldn't go ON the beach til we could both be there...), I'm hoping to snap a few 6 month photos on the beach :) Hopefully the weather and Caleb will cooperate!
